I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and clinical practicum supervisor with over 15 years of clinical and teaching experience within the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine & Health. I was awarded my PhD from UNSW Sydney in 2023 entitle 'EXCITE: Exercise to decrease Cardio-Metabolic Disease Risk', investigating exercise and lifestyle interventions for older adults cardiometabolic health. My clinical and teaching expertise focuses on the role of exercise in managing chronic conditions, particularly diabetes and the evaluation of Medicare group services for type 2 diabetes. My role in the exercise physiology practicum team also involves Scholarship of Learning and Teaching evaluation including clinical competency assessment and student work readiness.
