Dr Mohsen Mousavi is a lecturer at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of New South Wales. He has cultivated his expertise in engineering through years of experience in industry and academia. His contributions to the field of structural health monitoring and nondestructive damage testing are evident from his track record of publishing in top-tier journals. Throughout his career, he has been driven by a profound passion for applied mathematics and data analytics-Mohsen has a bachelor's in applied mathematics and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Data Science Insititute (DSI) of the University Technology Sydney for three years. His commitment lies in applying powerful mathematical and data analytics tools to various engineering domains, with the aim of fostering innovation and solving real-world challenges. He finds immense fulfillment in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Mohsen's vision is to foster interdisciplinary collaborations and promote a culture of continuous learning and exploration.
