Biography

Naveed Noor is an Assistant Professor of Health Policy and System Research at the Aga Khan University, Pakistan, and an affiliate researcher at the Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW Sydney. He has a PhD in social research in health, an M.Phil. in international development studies, and an MSc in anthropology. Naveed Noor is an Assistant Professor of Health Policy and System Research at the Aga Khan University, Pakistan, and an affiliate researcher at the Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW Sydney. He has a PhD in social research in health, an M.Phil. in international development studies, and an MSc in anthropology. His main areas of inquiry are sexual health, telemedicine, and health systems and policy.  He is the author of the book “Homeless Youth of Pakistan: Survival Sex and HIV Risk”, which is part of Springer-Briefs in Public Health. He has contributed to various programmatic studies on reproductive and maternal health, and contraception use in Pakistan. He is part of an international team that pioneered the standardised pharmaceutical sales representative (SPSR) method to assess conflict of interest arising from pharmaceutical incentivisation in healthcare settings.
