I am deeply interested in advancing human health through research, education and connection. I am driven by meaningful contribution, lifelong learning and compassionate excellence. My key strengths are medical education, evidence synthesis and critical thinking, engaging communication, and independent leadership with a collaborative approach.

I am a senior lecturer at Sydney Medical School, Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney (teaching and research) - as well as an adjunct lecturer in the School of Population Health, UNSW Sydney.

I have been educating and researching at a tertiary level for over two decades.

I have regularly consulted popular media regarding nutrition and wider health, and have published many articles for The Conversation since 2015.

I am a PhD nutritionist with clinical experience consulting from two Sydney general practices for several years.

I am a HarperCollins author: In 2024, I co-authored a self-help book on body image with Bev Aisbett called Beyond the Body Bully, about which I was invited to speak at the 2025 Sydney Writers' Festival.

I am a trained meditation teacher, having completed meditation teacher training with the Sydney Institute of Meditation in 2024.

I am also a casual photographer, and spent years photographing weddings with my Canon 5D - including one that was featured in Vogue Brides Australia.

My qualifications include: A Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching (UNSW Sydney, 2014), a PhD in Human Nutrition (The University of Sydney, 2009), a MSc in Human Nutrition (King's College London, 2004), and a BSc in Science (Neuroscience and Human Physiology, The University of Sydney, 2002).
