Dr Liu has broad experience in health technology assessment, policy evaluation, micro-costing of virtual models of care, and epidemiological modelling of antimicrobial resistance testing strategies. Her research integrates epidemiological, implementation, and economic methods to evaluate healthcare interventions and improve population health outcomes.
At the Kirby Institute, Dr Liu’s research focuses on the epidemiology of Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, particularly among people who inject drugs and individuals in custodial settings. Her work aims to support evidence-based strategies for the prevention, treatment, and elimination of viral hepatitis in priority settings.
