Dr Teng Xiong is a researcher in sustainable and climate-adaptive building technologies. His research focuses on passive thermal regulation, radiative cooling materials, phase change materials (PCMs), and low-carbon strategies for energy-efficient buildings. He integrates heat transfer, materials, and building physics to develop scalable solutions that enhance building energy performance and climate resilience.

He has conducted research at leading institutions including National University of Singapore (NUS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and UNSW, and has contributed to ARC-funded projects as well as projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and China’s National Key R&D Program. His work spans built environment, functional material design and fabrication, characterisation, prototype development, and outdoor field testing.
