Dr Vidhyasaharan Sethu is a Senior Lecturer with the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. His primary research interests are in the field of speech signal processing. Particularly in the application of machine learning techniques for addressing speech processing tasks. His research interests include speech based emotion and mental state recognition systems, affective computing, voice biometrics and more broadly the overlap between machine learning and signal processing.
