Biography

Dr. Xinyue Zhang is an Early Career Academic Fellow and Lecturer in Information Systems at the UNSW Business School. Dr. Xinyue Zhang is an Early Career Academic Fellow and Lecturer in Information Systems at the UNSW Business School. Her research focuses on digital sustainability and responsible digital innovation, with a particular interest in how digital technologies can be designed to create inclusive and socially meaningful outcomes. She has worked on projects involving emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, often in collaboration with underserved communities and industry partners. Her research has been published in journals including the European Journal of Information Systems and Disability & Society, and leading conferences, such as the International Conference on Information Systems and the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems. In her teaching, she integrates co-design and technology-enhanced pedagogy to help students critically engage with the opportunities and challenges of emerging digital technologies.
