Biography

Alice Calder is a PhD student in economics at UNSW in Sydney. Her research interests are in the areas of economic history, political economy, and institutional and cultural economics, often with a focus on gender. She seeks to take an interdisciplinary approach to these topics and understand the effect of policy, history, culture and society on people’s economic decisions and outcomes.

Alice Calder is a PhD student in economics at UNSW in Sydney. Originally from the UK, she has an MA in applied economics from George Mason University, VA and a BA in Philosophy and Political Economy from the University of Exeter.
