Dr Ezgi Aslantekin is an early career academic fellow in the School of Management and Governance at UNSW Business School. Her research examines how individuals adapt in changing work contexts, with a particular focus on employee adaptive performance, individual differences in effective adaptation, and evolving workplace dynamics.

Her research program centres on identifying when adaptation enhances performance and when it may be harmful, incorporating time, complexity, and feedback as core explanatory mechanisms. Building on her doctoral research, Ezgi advances the idea that adaptation is not always beneficial and that continual responsiveness to new demands may, in some contexts, undermine performance.

Methodologically, Ezgi continues to develop skills acquired during her PhD, particularly in computational modelling and large language model–based analysis.

Ezgi has taught across a range of courses in the School of Management and Governance, including Managing Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, International HRM, and Global Business Environment. She has experience teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts across micro- and macro-level management topics. Currently, she is the Course Convenor for the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem course.
