Biography
My main research interests are cardiopulmonary diseases and the use of exercise for diagnosis and management. My MRes focused on understanding heart-lung interactions and the functional consequences of altered cardiac morphology in powerlifters. My main research interests are cardiopulmonary diseases and the use of exercise for diagnosis and management. My MRes focused on understanding heart-lung interactions and the functional consequences of altered cardiac morphology in powerlifters. My PhD is examining exercise testing practices in undifferentiated breathlessness and heart failure.
Alongside my cardiac-focused research, I am also a dual-qualified clinician, with a background in critical care nursing and cardiopulmonary exercise physiology. I currently teach the cardiovascular accreditation requirements in the Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology programs at UNSW.
