Qinyu is a postdoctoral researcher in the Smart Materials and Surfaces Group, working with Professor Richard Tilley. Her research focuses on atomically controlled metal decoration of nanoparticles for electrocatalytic water splitting. Investigating how the precise arrangement of atoms on a nanoparticle surface governs its activity for the electrocatalysis. Qinyu completed her PhD in Chemistry at UNSW, with a thesis on atomically controlled metal decoration of nanoparticles for electrocatalytic water splitting, following a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) in Chemistry, also at UNSW, graduating with First Class Honours.
