Anikó completed her PhD at Macquarie University in 2019. Prior to her studies in Australia, she spent 5 years as a research consultant at the Smithsonian US National Museum of Natural History. She is a member of the Evolution of Terrestrial Ecosystems program, which researches community assembly processes of terrestrial animals and plants on geological timescales. 2017 Science Achievement Award for Best Paper of 2016 from the US National Museum of Natural History
