Biography

Alexander Maloof is a Junior Doctor at Prince of Wales Hospital who holds a keen interest in pursuing ophthalmology as a career. Alexander is a conjoint associate lecturer and is completing his MPhil degree in ophthalmology. Alexander Maloof is a Junior Doctor at Prince of Wales Hospital who holds a keen interest in pursuing ophthalmology as a career. Alexander is a conjoint associate lecturer and is completing his MPhil degree in ophthalmology. Alexander has been awarded a cumulative $30,000 in grant funding for his research into developing a novel cataract surgical simulator, and developing guidelines for the selection of multifocal intraocular lenses in cataract surgery. Alexander has a keen interest in the technology surrounding anterior segment surgery including glaucoma, cornea, cataract and refractive surgeries.
