Biography

Wesley Morgan is a research associate with the UNSW Institute for Climate Risk & Response (ICRR).  Wesley specialises in the international politics of climate change. Wesley Morgan is a research associate with the UNSW Institute for Climate Risk & Response (ICRR).  Wesley specialises in the international politics of climate change. His research considers the impacts of climate change on Australia and countries in the Asia-Pacific, and the international context for Australian climate policy. Wesley has a PhD in international relations from the University of Melbourne, and has written widely on multilateral cooperation on climate change. Wesley has over a decade's experience living and working in the Pacific islands, where he worked as Pacific Policy Advisor with Oxfam, and taught postgraduate courses in diplomacy, negotiation and statecraft at the University of the South Pacific. Wesley is also a fellow with the Climate Council of Australia.
