Dr David Ross Darley

Dr David R Darley is a Staff Specialist and Acting Medical Lead in Lung Transplantation at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. In 2017, he was awarded a St Vincent's Clinic Foundation Scholarship to undertake a Fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada, in Advanced Lung Diseases and Pulmonary Transplantation. He completed his PhD in 2024 which focussed on novel pathophysiologic markers of lung allograft dysfunction phenotypes. David was the Chair of the Transplant Society of Australia and New Zealand Lung Transplant Advisory Committee from 2022-2024. His research interests include chronic lung allograft dysfunction, eosinophils, novel pulmonary function testing and post-acute sequelae after COVID-19.
