I am a health services and health systems researcher with expertise in qualitative and mixed‑methods research focused on improving people's experiences of health and social care. My research centres on the experiences of patients, carers, and health professionals, with a particular focus on chronic and complex conditions, palliative and end‑of‑life care, and the translation of evidence into policy and practice.

In my current role as Research Fellow in the School of Population Health, I am working on motor neurone disease care research funded by FightMND.
