Nicki recently submitted her PhD in the Molecular Oncology Group, UNSW. Prior to this, Nicki oversaw the data and governance processes for the international Ovarian Tumor Tissue Analysis consortium led by Prof Susan Ramus.

Nicki recently submitted her PhD in the Molecular Oncology Group, UNSW. Prior to this, Nicki oversaw the data and governance processes for the international Ovarian Tumor Tissue Analysis consortium led by Prof Susan Ramus.
Nicki's research utilised the OTTA resource to help find biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment of a rare subtype of ovarian cancer, mucinous ovarian cancer with the supervision of Prof Susan Ramus, Prof Michael Friedlander and Prof Anna DeFazio.
Nicki has worked in cancer research for more than 10 years. She has experience co-ordinating a diverse range of cancer research projects with strong expertise in epidemiological research, working closely with population-based cancer registries, health data linkage, biobanking, and research ethics. She played a major role in developing the tissue and data infrastructure of the HSA Biobank, an institutional cancer biobank of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. She holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Medical Science.
