Biography

Dr Rotimi Abidoye is a Senior Lecturer in Property and Development at the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture, UNSW Sydney, Australia. Dr Rotimi Abidoye is a Senior Lecturer in Property and Development at the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture, UNSW Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining UNSW Sydney, he was a Research Associate/Teaching Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, a Lecturer at the Bells University of Technology, Ota, Nigeria and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. In the past, he has also worked in the real estate and banking industry in Nigeria. Rotimi is a recipient of the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for his PhD study and also, received the Endowment Scholarship from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, for his Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree education. His research focus includes but is not limited to Property Valuation Accuracy, Real Estate Education, Real Estate Practice and Theory and Housing Supply. He has published his research outputs in top-tier peer-review journals and has presented some at international conferences. He is a reviewer for a number of Journals domiciled in the Built Environment. Rotimi is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS), a Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV) in Australia, an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (ANIVS), and a Registered Valuer (RSV) certified by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria.
