Biography

Dr Ayad Anwer is a Microbiologist, Microscopist, and biological specimen preparation expert. His Ph.D. research focused on Laser application in Biology and Biophotonics, and his Master in Microscopy and Microanalysis (USYD) focused on correlative confocal and electron Microscopy. Dr Ayad Anwer is a Microbiologist, Microscopist, and biological specimen preparation expert. His Ph.D. research focused on Laser application in Biology and Biophotonics, and his Master in Microscopy and Microanalysis (USYD) focused on correlative confocal and electron Microscopy. He is currently a research associate, laboratory manager at the school of Biomedical Engineering, UNSW, and Honorary senior research fellow at the department of clinical medicine, Macquarie university. Since 2007, Dr. Anwer has been working in many areas of Biophotonics including autofluorescence of biological specimens, laser photobiomodulation, correlative microscopy, and Hyperspectral imaging.
