Biography

Dr Caroline Doyle is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at UNSW, Canberra.

Caroline studies how policymakers can develop and implement policies to respond to social problems, such as crime and violence. Previously, Caroline spent time in Colombia investigating reductions in crime levels. More recently, she has been researching the qualitative experiences of people leaving prison in the ACT.

Dr Caroline Doyle is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at UNSW, Canberra.

Caroline studies how policymakers can develop and implement policies to respond to social problems, such as crime and violence. Previously, Caroline spent time in Colombia investigating reductions in crime levels. More recently, she has been researching the qualitative experiences of people leaving prison in the ACT.  

Caroline has several years of experience as the President of Prisoners Aid (ACT). In this role, Caroline regularly provides advice to policymakers and service providers on policies and programs to improve the lives of ACT detainees during incarceration and post-release. 

Caroline completed her PhD at UNSW Canberra in 2017. Previously she completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University and has been admitted as a solicitor to the ACT Supreme Court since 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at the University of Canberra and her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Wollongong.
