Janine Vetsch is an early-career Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Women’s and Children’s Health at UNSW Sydney. Janine Vetsch is an early-career Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Women’s and Children’s Health at UNSW Sydney. She is also the team leader of the ethics and genetics team at the Behavioural Sciences Unit at Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children’s Hospital. She holds a Master of Biomedical Science and a PhD in Health Sciences/Health Policy. In her current role, Dr Vetsch leads a program of research investigating psychosocial impacts of families undergoing personalised medicine. Her focus is on families’ hopes, expectations and attitudes toward being enrolled in a personalised medicine trial. Her research aims to better understand families’ needs and to develop educational resources.
