I am a Senior Lecturer at UNSW in the Banking & Finance department. I obtained my PhD in Finance from UNSW in 2018. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the UK finance industry regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority. I remained there as a research economist until 2022. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the UK finance industry regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority. I remained there as a research economist until 2022. My research is in market microstructure and cryptocurrency markets. I have published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the Journal of Financial Markets. I teach and coordinate the DeFi and Cryptocurrency course.
