Soojin Kim (Ph.D., Purdue University) is Associate Professor and Program Director at the School of the Arts and Media, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. By investigating stakeholders and publics’ behavior, her research seeks to find connections between public/stakeholder insights and organizations’ optional strategies for facilitating meaningful engagement and collaboration. She explores diverse relational contexts from consumer-brand relationship, organization-employee relationship, citizen-government relationship, to public-country relationship. Her research interests in employee communication include turnover intention, employee communicative behavior and motives, and employee moral reasoning and affective reaction. Kim’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Public Relations Review, Communication Research, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Communication, and International Journal of Strategic Communication.
