Dr Tom Peat received a BA in biophysics and biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, and obtained Masters and PhD degrees from Columbia University. Tom has been involved with early-stage biotech companies in the US and has founded two companies in Australia. Dr Tom Peat received a BA in biophysics and biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, and obtained Masters and PhD degrees from Columbia University. Tom has been involved with early-stage biotech companies in the US and has founded two companies in Australia. He has contributed over 300 structures to the Protein Data Bank and has been actively involved in fragment screening and other tools for structure-based drug development. Two of the projects he has been involved with have progressed into phase 2 clinical trials for cancer treatments.
