Yue's key research areas focus on transparent soil, ground improvement, soil stabilisation, and numerical modeling.

**Scholarships of $35,000 (AUD) are available for PhD students who achieved UNSW High Distinction (H1) or equivalent in their undergraduate program and/or have completed a Masters by Research.

Several types of scholarships are available. In general, admission and scholarship applications are highly competitive. In addition, all applicants must meet the English language requirements.

Potential Research Topics

(1) Mechanical behavior of biopolymer-treated soil under rolling dynamic compaction

(2) Experimental and numerical analysis of the performance of geogrid-reinforced soil

(3) Behavior of subgrade under cyclic loading

If you are interested in completing a Ph.D. degree in the areas that I am involved with (or closely related areas), please send me your CV, academic transcripts, and a research proposal consisting of a brief literature review and proposed methodology.
