Research Interests:
Injury is the leading cause of death and disability in Australia. Traffic accidents account for a substantial proportion of this problem, particularly for injury to the central nervous system. The focus of my research is understanding how human, environmental and vehicle factors interact to cause injury. We use a multidisciplinary approach in studying this problem. Techniques span mass data analysis, field based crash investigation and observation studies through to laboratory and behavioural work.
