Dance for health - currently researching effects of dance as a therapeutic modality across different age groups and health conditions.

Biomechanics, including three-dimensional (3D) analysis of human movement (i.e. 3D kinematics & kinetics, electromyography, force plates, inertial measurement units).

Biography

I am currently Director of Teaching in the UNSW School of Health Sciences. My primary areas of teaching and research include dance for health, biomechanics, motor learning and skill acquisition. I have a strong interest in investigating the biomechanics of dance and other movement practices, and assessing the therapeutic effects of dance for people of all ages and abilities.
