Biography

David is a Senior Research Fellow in the Surveillance and Evaluation Research Program at the Kirby Institute. He applies his expertise in epidemiology and health economics to implement sustainable advances in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and surveillance of major global infectious diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis, influenza, and COVID-19. David is a Senior Research Fellow in the Surveillance and Evaluation Research Program at the Kirby Institute. He applies his expertise in epidemiology and health economics to implement sustainable advances in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and surveillance of major global infectious diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis, influenza, and COVID-19. His research has shaped national and international clinical guidelines for HIV and viral hepatitis, translating evidence into practice and improving care for affected populations worldwide.
