Dr Soufiane Boufous is an injury epidemiologist with a Masters degree in Public Health, University of Sydney and a PhD in Epidemiology, University of NSW. Soufiane's research focuses on developing innovative methods of assessing the burden and risk factors of trauma and has extensive experience in injury surveillance and record linkage of injury data. He has also led and been involved in large observational studies and randomized trials that increased knowledge and supported the development of evidence based injury prevention policies, particularly in the area of road safety.
