Biography
I am currently an Associate Professor and NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney. I received my PhD from the University of Wollongong in 2013. My Research Activities
My research interests include Microfluidics, Biosensors, Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and Lab-on-a-Chip. My research spans multiple disciplines, leveraging tools and techniques from fluid mechanics, biomedical engineering, microtechnology, advanced manufacturing, and biochemistry to unlock innovative perspectives and solutions. Moreover, my research is typically practical, with a strong focus on developing cutting-edge methods, devices, and instrumentation tailored for medical diagnostics, health assessment, environmental monitoring, and renewable energy.
