My Teaching
My role as Academic Program Lead for the Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Innovation Program since November 2021 means I was instrumental in conceptualising, developing, and accrediting the program at UNSW through Dietitians Australia while I was the sole Accredited Practising Dietitian. My education-focused role has included curriculum design, accreditation documentation, and interdisciplinary integration to enhance student learning. Due to my extensive contacts within both food and nutrition, and ideas for innovative education, I have taught in some capacity in each course to date, building a strong sense of community among the students. I lead the Faculty Sustainability group, selected due to my interest within both an education and research context.
