My Research Activities

As integrated care co-ordinator and head of the macular unit at the Centre for Eye Health, my research activities are focused on age-related macular degeneration and other central retinal diseases in the areas of:

  • Advanced retinal image analysis
  • Patient outcomes and health care delivery
  • Clinical decision support systems

My current research projects and opportunities are entitled:

  • Cluster analysis for improving outcomes in macular disease via multimodal support (COMMS)
  • Improving outcomes in macular disease via the development and dissemination of clinical decision support technologies 
  • Attitudes and barriers to care in AMD (The ABCs of AMD)
