Belinda is the Director of the Minor in Social Robotics for the Bachelor of Design, and the Course Convenor for Interior Architecture: Critical Perspectives and for Computational Design: Human-Machine Interaction.
Belinda’s research focuses on the appearance design, movement planning and future cultural implications of social robots. Her current research interests are in social robot morphology, critical futuring, technology ethics and cultural robotics. Recently, Belinda was the lead editor of Cultural Robotics: Social Robots and their Emergent Cultural Ecologies (Springer, 2023).
