Biography
I am an evolutionary biologist interested in the mechanisms underlying the evolution of novel traits. My research uses genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics and bioinformatics. My current work focuses on i) the molecular causes and consequences of rapid evolution in invasive species, mainly cane toads, and ii) the development of neutral and functional genetic diversity indicators in biodiversity conservation models across Australian animals.
