My Expertise

My research is multidisciplinary with a focus on implementation of psychological programs within resource-constrained settings. I am a mixed methods researcher and implementation scientist with training in clinical psychology. I work as a consultant for the World Health Organization and conduct research to inform global mental health policy and programming.

Stream 1: Global mental health & brief psychological programs

My first line of research focuses on implementing brief psychological interventions for adolescents and adults in LMICs and HICs, with a particular focus on adversity-affected communities in India, Jordan, and Switzerland. Using mixed methods and implementation science methodologies, this work examines how scalable, evidence-based programs can be adapted to diverse sociocultural contexts, generating evidence that informs policy and practice at national and regional levels.

Stream 2: Implementation of workplace mental health programs

My second line of research investigates the implementation of workplace mental health programs across educational settings. Drawing on implementation science frameworks and mixed methods, this work explores the conditions under which mental health initiatives are adopted, sustained, and scaled within educational institutions, translating evidence into real-world organisational practice.
