Biography

Eindra is currently the Project Manager of a cluster randomised controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of use of a mobile self-management app, designed for people with gout. Eindra is currently the Project Manager of a cluster randomised controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of use of a mobile self-management app, designed for people with gout. Her previous research areas include assessment of quality of care from patient perspectives, patient activation (self-management ability), patient-reported outcomes, ex-prisoners’ health, behaviour change communication regarding sanitation and hygiene behaviours, and health information systems. Her international health experiences include coordinating behaviour change communication programs (mainly HIV prevention and reproductive health), and managing post-disaster health and livelihood programs. She also participated in and conducted monitoring and evaluation of those programs in Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and India.
