Biography
Dr Bilbao is an expert on the electrical and thermal modelling of photovoltaic (PV) modules and photovoltaic/thermal (PVT) modules. As part of his research, Dr Bilbao has developed novel thermal models for PV and PVT modules which describe in detail the thermal losses and heat transfer within the module layers. Dr Bilbao is an expert on the electrical and thermal modelling of photovoltaic (PV) modules and photovoltaic/thermal (PVT) modules. As part of his research, Dr Bilbao has developed novel thermal models for PV and PVT modules which describe in detail the thermal losses and heat transfer within the module layers. Dr Bilbao’s work also covers the performance modelling, degradation, recycling, and life cycle assessment of PV modules and systems. Dr Bilbao worked as a postgraduate research fellow at UNSW since September 2012 and more recently as an Associate Lecturer.
