My Expertise

Dr Luca Modenese is a researcher in the field of computational biomechanics with an extensive experience in measuring, modelling, simulating and analysing human movement. Luca is an expert in technologies used to create digital twins of the musculoskeletal system of individuals and patients, especially from standard medical scans like computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These digital twins have been used to create computer simulations of walking and other daily-living and sports activities. Dr Modenese has published more than 40 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals, releasing several musculoskeletal models and open source tools and datasets with his publications.
