My Expertise

I’m broadly interested in blockchain technology and all related techniques. My research mainly covers the techniques from applied cryptography and distributed computing systems. Several topics I am working on include (but are not limited to):

- Tokenomics (NFT, CBDC, ERC20, etc.)

- Layer1 protocols (Security, Scalability, Attack&Defense, etc.)

Qin is a research scientist at CSIRO Data61. He also an adjunct lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).  Before that, I had my PhD career at Swinburne University of Technology. Previously, I received my Master’s degree from Beihang University (BUAA) and Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern Polytechnical Univerisity (NPU).
