My research uses population-based health data to examine the quality use of psychotropic medicines among priority populations. My research aims to promote best-practice healthcare through public health policy and clinical practice changes.
I am a pharmacoepidemiologist, PhD candidate, in the Medicine Intelligence Program at the School of Population Health, UNSW Sydney. During my PhD candidature, I conducted international research at the Norwegian Public Health Institute, Oslo (8-month placement). Through this experience, I have analysed linked health and academic data from Australia and Nordic countries.
I am passionate about using population-based linked data and sophisticated methods to provide evidence about real-world medicine use and outcomes. I am particularly interested in pharmacoepidemiology among high-risk and under-served population groups, including pregnant women and children.
