Mr Duncan Chalmers is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mining Engineering. His research interests include Mine Explosives, Mine gas management, detection and analysis, Mine Ventilation, Respirable dust detection and analysis. He is the Chairperson for the Australian Mine Ventilation Conference, Member of the International Society of Explosive Engineers, The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying Australia and has extensive teaching mining and research experience.
