Rhys is a Project Officer and PhD Candidate at the School of Population Health, UNSW. His research involves designing and developing serious games and other innovative digital interventions for older people in prison.

Rhys also has extensive consulting experience delivering digital and policy programs across the public sector and healthcare. Both his academic and professional work has focused on improving outcomes for marginalised groups through better access to information and services.

Rhys strives to design and deliver culturally safe and technically feasible health programs that create positive change and improve population-level outcomes. Given his background in management consulting and economics, he is also extremely conscious of the need for effective translation of health research and policy into tangible and cost-effective solutions.
