Dr Caitlin Buckle is a Lecturer in City Planning with a background in human geography and environmental science, teaching and researching city equity health and wellbeing, urban and regional housing and policy, and planning research methods. Her previous research projects have considered regional population growth and change, and place and residential experiences of migrants through time and involved experimentation with digital, qualitative research methods. Prior to joining the UNSW School of Built Environment, Caitlin was a Research Associate in Housing Studies within the School of Architecture, Design and Planning at the University of Sydney and worked on projects related to first homeownership, short-term letting, informal and marginal housing, and experiences of living within high-rise buildings.
