I am the Senior Research Associate at the Centre for the Future of the Legal Profession, Faculty of Law & Justice, UNSW, with over 30 years of experience across the legal sector. I am admitted to practice law in NSW. I have worked as a practising lawyer as well as holding leadership roles in global and Australian law firms, and with corporate legal operations teams in the financial services and FMCG sectors.

- Knowledge Management (KM): Extensive experience in developing KM frameworks, designing strategies, and overseeing enterprise knowledge initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

My Research Activities
Current areas of research focus include:
- Generative AI (GenAI): How it is impacting the legal profession and legal services, including the rise of “fake law”, multi-jurisdictional monitoring of GenAI use in litigation, tracking court and legal regulator responses, tailoring risk management frameworks to promote responsible adoption and innovation.
- A2J and technology: Addressing unmet legal need through legal services deregulation and technology.
- Recruitment and retention: Strategies within the legal profession and fostering positive culture in legal workplaces.
- Leadership in professional organisations: Essential skills and personal competencies for legal professionals.
These areas will expand as the work of the Centre progresses.
