Dr. Michelle Vhudzijena is an Early Career Academic Fellow at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) School of Risk and Actuarial Studies. She specialises in teaching courses on risk management, economics, superannuation and retirement benefits. Previously, she served as a Senior Research Associate at the Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research. Her research focuses on mortality heterogeneity and the development of financial products aimed at enhancing individual well-being during retirement using individual-level longitudinal data. She holds a PhD in Actuarial Studies from UNSW, Sydney, Australia, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University.
