Cameron Holloway is a Consultant Cardiologist, Associate Professor with the University of NSW and University of Notre Dame, Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at St Vincent's Hospital and is Clinical Faculty at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. He returned to Sydney in 2013 after 6 years at the University of Oxford, where he worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at the University of Oxford NHS trust and had a particular interest in cardiac imaging, including cardiac MRI. His PhD and post-doctoral research in Oxford focused on investigating the mechanisms of heart failure using cardiac magnetic resonance. He is a general cardiologist, though has published widely on mechanisms of cardiac disease and his current research focuses on understanding and managing HIV-related heart disease.
