My Expertise

Dr Kremmer's fields of research interest include Journalism in the Digital Age, Asian studies, Historical fiction, Literary Non-Fiction, and media regulation and ethics. He has written and published widely on politics, religion and conflict in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Iran, Iraq, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. His doctoral thesis considered truth claims in history and historical fiction. He is a published novelist and reviews books for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Conversation. He is available to supervise PhD and masters by research candidates in the fields of literary journalism, creative nonfiction and fiction writing. His research interests include literary, genre and narrative studies. He has also published scholarly work in media and journalism ethics, histories of science and sport, and Australian and Asian studies.

Dr Christopher Kremmer is Senior Lecturer in Literary & Narrative Journalism Practice in the School of the Arts & Media.
