Sandra Fok is a research specialist in advanced microscopy and imaging technologies, with extensive experience supporting multidisciplinary biomedical research. She has led imaging facilities and contributed to a wide range of projects spanning neuroscience, cell biology, and translational research.

Sandra’s expertise includes but not limited lightsheet microscopy, confocal and super-resolution imaging, as well as large-scale image analysis and data processing. She has a strong track record of collaborating with researchers to design imaging workflows, generate high-quality data, and contribute to grant applications, publications, and conference presentations.

In addition to her technical expertise, Sandra is an experienced mentor and educator, having trained and supervised students and researchers across all levels. She has also worked closely with industry partners, bridging academic research with applied and commercial outcomes. At UNSW, she continues to support innovative research through advanced imaging, technical leadership, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
