Nizar comes from a Technology Engineering background with over 24 years of industry experience.  He obtained a PhD from the School of Information Systems and Technology Management, UNSW Business School, The University of New South Wales. His research explores the emergence of digital transformation initiatives as a response to challenges and opportunities in various contexts and applications. Nizar has published his work in leading IS journals and International Conferences on Information Systems. Before entering academia, Nizar worked in industry-leading organisations in the ICT and telecommunications industry.  He continues to provide consulting and management services to public and private institutions on digital transformation initiatives and programs.
